Film on Individual Parts

Partial PPF for a single spot that takes scuffing: sills, the boot edge, headlights or pillars. Also adding a part to film your car already has.

Are your sills getting scuffed by shoes, the boot edge by shopping, or are the first stone-chip dots showing up on the headlights? We'll fit film to just that one spot on its own.

Parts we take on their own

  • Sills. Scuffed by shoes every time someone gets in, including kids' shoes at the back doors.
  • Boot edge. Every suitcase, shopping bag and pushchair goes over it.
  • Headlights. Stone chips from the cars ahead of you head straight for them.
  • Pillars. Easy to catch the pillars between the doors with a bag or a zip when getting in.

Is it a different spot you're after? Tell us which one, and we'll let you know what can be done with it.

Adding a part later

You can start with one part and add another later. If your car already has film from us and you want to add another part, we'll fit it to match. Just tell us in your enquiry what's already on the car and what you'd like to add.

What the film does on a part

From the moment it's fitted, the film takes the scuffs, not the paint underneath.

Whatever's already on the part stays under the film. A scuffed sill or a scratched edge won't be fixed by the film — it just gets kept as it is. If there are scratches on the part, they're addressed first, for a single spot for example with Spot Correction of a Specific Defect, and only then does the film go on. Paint Diagnostics will tell you the condition of the part's paint.

Which film

Even for a single part, we fit FlexiShield film. Clear film comes with a manufacturer's warranty of 8, 10 or 12 years and a thickness of 191, 203 or 216 µm, and the matte finish carries a 7-year manufacturer's warranty; the base is an 8-year warranty and 191 µm, and the rest costs extra. Sills and the boot edge take more daily wear than any other part, and here it's the thickness of the film that matters more than the warranty length. You don't need to pick the warranty or thickness yourself. Tell us how much punishment the part takes and how many more years you're planning to keep the car, and we'll recommend them accordingly.

Price and installation

How much it costs depends mainly on which part it is and how big the car is; we'll send a quote for your part. The film is fitted by Lukáš Vyskočil and Sebastian Vyskočil, the same people who fit our bigger jobs too.

Warranties, warranty checks and larger protection scopes are described on the PPF Film page.

Request film for a single part

Tell us which part it is, what car you have, how often the part gets scuffed, and whether there's already anything visible on it: scratches, a scuffed patch, a dull streak. A photo of the part in daylight helps. You don't need to know the name of the film.
