Ceramic Protection
Ceramic protection for one, three or five years, with swirl self-healing or for matte paint, plus shorter basic paint protection. Tell us how you drive.
I want the car to stay glossy and washing not to take half a day.
Water spreads across the bonnet instead of beading and running off, dried water spots stay after rain, and dirt only comes off on the second pass. Ceramic is the car paint protection we use most: a thin layer that bonds with the paint: water runs off it, dirt sticks less, and washing goes faster. It doesn't repair the paint on its own and it doesn't protect against stone chips – that's what paint protection film (PPF) below is for. Ceramic can also be applied on top of it, so you can have both protections on the car at once.
Which service is for whom
The years quoted for each line are the manufacturer's figures; how much of that a car really gets depends on use.
- Ceramic Surface Protection: all lines side by side, when you don't know which one to pick.
- FEYNLAB® The Original Ceramic: lasts a year, or when you're starting out with ceramic.
- FEYNLAB® Ceramic by Paul Dalton: lasts three years, mainly for gloss and a smooth surface.
- FEYNLAB® Ceramic V3: lasts three years, a strong layer for a car that's driven daily and parked outside.
- FEYNLAB® Ultra V3: lasts five years, holds up through winter on salted roads too.
- FEYNLAB® Heal Lite: fine swirl marks from washing even out with heat, mainly on dark paint.
- FEYNLAB® Self Heal Plus: full self-healing of swirl marks.
- FEYNLAB® Matte Ceramic: for matte and satin paint.
- Basic Paint Protection: a shorter-lasting layer, when you're not ready for ceramic yet.
Services in this category
Ceramic coating keeps paint and PPF film glossy and easy to wash. It protects for one, three or five years, with lines that self-heal swirl marks after washing and one for matte paint. Applied by FEYNLAB-certified studio in Ústí nad Labem.
Want the car to wash more easily and dirt to stick to the paint less, but not ready for ceramic yet? Basic protection is a shorter-lived layer on the paint that's meant to be renewed.
