Hand Wash Outside and Inside

A mini valet: exterior and interior in a single visit: washed bodywork, wheels and glass, vacuumed and wiped-down interior. For a car in regular condition that you want fully clean, without a second trip.

The car needs washing both outside and inside. There's dust and insects on the bodywork, brake residue on the wheels, sand in the carpets inside and fingerprints on the steering wheel. You don't want to drive to the studio twice and leave the car there on two separate occasions.

Washing outside and inside is for a car in regular, well-kept condition that you want entirely clean at once. If only one side bothers you, Exterior Hand Wash or Interior Hand Wash: Vacuum and Wipe-Down on its own is enough. If dirt stays in the seams and around the trim, or there are stains in the seats, one level up is Exterior Hand Wash Including Seams, Trim and Badges and Interior Cleaning: Plastics, Leather and Seams. What You're Paying For

Outside

  1. Pre-wash. Heavy dirt and sand come off before the mitt touches the paint.
  2. Hand washing the bodywork. By hand, not brushes. Why that matters for the paint is covered in swirl marks in the paint after a wash.
  3. Washing the wheels and tyres.
  4. Rinsing and gentle drying. So no spots are left behind from dried drops on the paint — drying is the step where paint damage starts most often.
  5. Finishing off the details.

Inside

  1. Vacuuming the floors, carpets and seats.
  2. Wiping down plastic and touch surfaces. Dashboard, door panels, steering wheel, handles.
  3. Glass from the inside.

We do both sides in a single appointment. Washing at the studio is handled by Daniel Kumšta. It's about cleanliness: we don't polish the paint or deep-clean the upholstery.

What the Price Depends On

  • The car's size. A large SUV or estate has more surface area outside and more carpets and seats inside.
  • How dirty the car is. Dried-on insects, heavy build-up on the wheels or sand trodden into the carpets take more time.
  • How much work the particular car takes. We'll tell you the exact amount based on the car's actual condition.

When Washing Outside and Inside Isn't Enough

Washing outside and inside handles everyday dirt. For build-up worked into the paint, there's Paint Decontamination: Wash with Residue Removal. Dull or scratched paint won't regain its gloss from washing. Paint Diagnostics will tell you what can be done about it. For a heavily soiled interior, there's Deep Interior Cleaning (Upholstery Shampoo). If the car has ceramic coating or PPF film, choose Exterior Hand Wash for Ceramic or Film.
