Deep Interior Cleaning

A coffee ring on the seat base, a darkened carpet, a cabin you can smell even with the windows open? Car upholstery cleaning gets dirt out of the fabric and carpets. We return the car properly dried, so stains don't come back.

There's a ring on the light-coloured seat base from spilled coffee, the carpet under the driver's feet has darkened, and the back seats still carry traces of kids or a dog. A vacuum or a cloth won't do anything about it, because the dirt isn't on the surface. It has soaked into the fibres and into the padding under the cover. On top of that, the cabin smells even with the windows open. Deep interior cleaning is for cars where dirt has worked its way into the fabric and carpets. It also suits a used car when you want to know the interior's real condition.

When the interior is just dusty and there are no stains on the seats, the step below, Interior Cleaning, is enough. For heavy contamination such as blood, vomit or excrement, or a smell left by long neglect, choose the step above, Neglected Interior and Odour Cleaning.

What you're paying for

  • Cleaning into the depth of the material. This isn't just a surface treatment. We get dirt out of the fabric and carpets and improve the hygiene of the whole interior.
  • The amount of water matched to the material. How much water we put into the fabric is chosen for that particular part of the interior. Not every material in the car can take the same amount, so we don't treat them all the same way.
  • Drying through to the end. As long as there's water in the seat, the cleaning isn't finished. We leave the car open and with air moving through it until the windows stop misting up. We return it properly dried and tell you from when you can put things back in and stretch the covers back on.

Why drying matters so much is explained in The Stain Came Back After Cleaning.

What the price depends on

The price depends on the size of the car, on how much dirt is there and what caused it, and on the materials. Fabric seats, leather and alcantara are each cleaned differently. An old stain takes more work than a fresh one — dye from jeans, for instance, works its way in deeper over time, as described in Blue Stains From Jeans on a Seat. We always work out the scope from the interior's actual condition.

When you'll need the car back

How long it takes to get your car back depends on the scope of the cleaning and on how quickly the material dries. If you need the car back by a certain date, tell us that when you book, so we can plan for it.

When the smell is coming from the vents

A smell that comes with the airflow and fades once the fan is off isn't coming from the upholstery — it's coming from the air conditioning evaporator. We can't reach that as part of interior cleaning. Cleaning and refilling the air conditioning is handled through a partner we work with, so tell us about the smell when we're arranging the job. More in Your Car Smells When the Vents Blow.

So the seats don't get dirty again right away

After cleaning, you can have the materials protected with the Interior ceramic add-on to Ceramic Surface Protection. Dirt then stays on the surface instead of soaking into the material. What a continuous ceramic film on the fibre can do for fabric seats, and where its limit is, is described in Ceramic Protection for Fabric Seats.

Tell us what's in the interior

Tell us what stains are in the interior, how long they've been there, and whether there's a smell. A photo taken in daylight helps. We'll propose a cleaning scope. You can also call +420 739 374 074.
