There's a layer of dust on the dashboard, the steering wheel and door handles have shiny fingerprints, sand from your shoes grinds in the carpets, and the windscreen smears from the inside when you drive into the sun. The car looks good on the outside, but inside it just isn't a pleasant place to sit.
Interior Hand Wash is for a car that's dirty inside from everyday use: dust, crumbs, fingerprints. If nothing inside bothers you and it's just about how it looks outside, Hand Wash is enough. If you also want the bodywork washed, Hand Wash Outside and Inside works out simpler. If there are stains in the seats or the interior smells, one level up is Interior Cleaning. What You're Paying For
- Vacuuming the floors and carpets. Sand, crumbs and dust that has settled under the seats.
- Vacuuming the seats.
- Wiping down plastic surfaces. Dashboard, door panels, centre console.
- Wiping down touch surfaces. Steering wheel, gear lever, handles and controls, where fingerprints stick. When the steering wheel looks shiny even after wiping, it's usually Alcantara, not dirt.
- Glass from the inside. So the windscreen doesn't smear when you drive into the sun.
Washing at the studio is handled by Daniel Kumšta. We clean the surface of the materials, not the upholstery in depth. For that, there are the services listed below.
What the Price Depends On
- The car's size. A large SUV or estate has more carpets, seats and surfaces than a small car.
- How dirty the interior is. Sand trodden into the carpets and crumbs in the seams of the seats take more time.
- How much work the particular car takes. We'll tell you the exact amount based on the car's actual condition.
When Washing the Interior Isn't Enough
Stains and odours worked into the upholstery won't go away with washing. A typical case is blue jean marks, which get pressed into the material and are no longer on the surface. For those, there's Interior Cleaning, and for dirt soaked deep into the fabric and carpets, Deep Interior Cleaning.
When a car smells from the vents, the source is usually the air-conditioning evaporator, which we can't reach during interior cleaning. More in the article Car Smells From the Vents.
