Ceramic by Paul Dalton

FEYNLAB ceramic protection developed with detailer Paul Dalton — depth of gloss and a smooth surface that holds water in beads. Ústí nad Labem.

The car is washed, and still the colour has no depth. Light reflects off the bonnet diffusely, and when you run your hand over the paint you feel a faint roughness. Dust sticks to it just days after washing, and rainwater dries into marks. You plan to keep the car for several years, its looks matter to you, and you drive it in everyday traffic.

FEYNLAB Ceramic by Paul Dalton was developed in collaboration with detailer Paul Dalton. The manufacturer aimed it at depth of gloss, a smooth, slick surface and how water sheets off it. We offer it as a three-year protection.

How it differs from the neighbouring lines

It differs from the one-year The Original Ceramic in length: three years instead of one — the manufacturer's figure for both. Ceramic V3 protects for the same length of time, but each targets something different. Dalton is a line for looks and isn't certified. Ceramic V3 is a certified line with a high solids content and a strong layer that, according to the manufacturer, cleans itself. The manufacturer hasn't specified Dalton for cars in intensive use or aggressive environments. If you drive daily, a lot, and in all weather, choose Ceramic V3 instead. You'll find all the lines side by side on the ceramic surface protection page.

If something goes wrong

We give a two-year warranty on the work, and the FEYNLAB manufacturer's warranty applies to the material. We check the coating's condition at warranty inspections, and between them we're happy to take a look whenever something seems off to you.

When to choose a different route

Ceramic won't stop stone chips on the front of the car — that's what PPF film is for. We can then apply ceramic over the film too, see combined protection.
