FEYNLAB Ceramic V3 Paint Protection

FEYNLAB Ceramic V3 ceramic coating leaves paint smooth and makes washing easier. Write to our SEVEN Works studio in Ústí nad Labem.

The car stays clean for a few days after washing. Then comes rain with dust, insects on the edge of the bonnet, and bird droppings, and by the time you get around to washing, the dirt clings to the paint so much that a sponge won't shift it. The more you scrub, the more fine scratches show up under sharp light. You drive daily, the car parks outside, and you want years of peace of mind.

For that car, there's FEYNLAB Ceramic V3. It's a certified ceramic protection from the manufacturer's professional line, with a high solids content. It forms a strong, hard layer on the paint and leaves the surface so smooth that water and dirt cling to it less. The manufacturer describes this as a self-cleaning property. We offer it as a three-year protection.

How it differs from the neighbouring lines

Ceramic by Paul Dalton protects for the same length of time. It's aimed mainly at gloss and smoothness, isn't certified, and the manufacturer hasn't specified it for intensive use. Ceramic V3 is a line for a car that drives a lot and in all weather. One step up is Ultra V3: it protects for five years and the manufacturer lists the strongest layer and high chemical resistance for it. Choose that one if you're keeping the car longer, or it drives through a whole winter on salted roads. If what bothers you most is fine swirl marks after washing on dark paint, look at the self-healing Heal Lite. An overview of all the lines is on the ceramic surface protection page.

If something goes wrong

We give a two-year warranty on the work, and the FEYNLAB manufacturer's warranty applies to the material. At warranty inspections we check how the layer is holding up. If anything looks off to you between inspections, bring the car in.

When to choose a different route

Ceramic V3 doesn't belong on matte or satin paint — it would turn it semi-gloss. For that, there's Matte Ceramic. Against stone chips, it's PPF film, not ceramic, that protects.
