FEYNLAB® Heal Lite — self-healing ceramic paint protection

Self-healing ceramic paint protection for dark shades: wash defects level out in the layer with heat. Certified FEYNLAB studio in Ústí nad Labem.

Dark paint looks its worst in direct sunlight. Fine swirl marks and hairlines from a sponge, towel or car wash show up in it. None of them is visible on its own, but together they scatter light and black stops looking black, even on a freshly washed car. You wash the car yourself or have it washed often, and you don't want to have it polished every few years.

That's what FEYNLAB Heal Lite, a self-healing ceramic protection, is for. Fine swirl marks that form in it during washing level out once the sun warms the layer. The paint doesn't need polishing to get rid of them. The manufacturer states a lifespan of up to five years and recommends the self-healing protection mainly for dark paint.

How it differs from the neighbouring lines

Regular lines like Ceramic V3 form a hard layer. Wash swirls then form on it instead of on the paint, but they stay visible. Compared to Self Heal Plus, Heal Lite has, according to the manufacturer, around 60% of its self-healing ability. If you want full self-healing, choose Self Heal Plus. You'll find all the lines side by side on the ceramic surface protection page.

If something goes wrong

We give a two-year warranty on the work, and the FEYNLAB manufacturer's warranty applies to the material. We check the layer at warranty inspections, and whenever something looks off to you between them, bring the car in.

Where self-healing has its limits

The layer needs heat from the sun to self-heal. In winter it barely works, and swirls stay visible until it warms up. Only fine swirls within the layer level out — not a deep scratch or paint chipped by a stone. Against stone chips, there's PPF film.
