What it is
We fit FlexiShield coloured PPF film, a protective film that also changes the colour or surface finish of the car's paint. It works like standard PPF film – it protects the paint, including against flying stone chips – but it also gives the car a different look than it had from the factory. The top layer is self-healing: fine wash-induced scratches disappear on their own with heat.
Variants
You choose the film based on the surface and effect you want for your car:
- glossy colour,
- satin (a slightly matte surface) and sparkle,
- colour flip – the colour changes depending on viewing angle,
- special effects,
- textured.
For each variant you'll find a price on the website, in two versions: with part removal, or without it.
With or without removal
Without removal, the film is applied around parts that stay on the car. The film's edges then run alongside them. With removal, these parts are taken off first and put back once the film has been applied.
What you pay for
The price for the scope covers a standard-size car (class M) and is fixed. If extra work turns up during removal that we couldn't have foreseen in advance, we'll describe it as a separate step and you'll approve it beforehand – nothing gets added without your consent.
The price doesn't include polishing or paint correction. The paint must be in good condition before application, because the film will preserve its current state – including any flaws it already has.
A colour that also protects the paint: show it to us on a video call first — free
Before you bring the car in, we can go over it on a WhatsApp video call — free and with no commitment. Message us with a time that suits you; we will call back Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, other times by arrangement. On the call we will talk through the colour or finish you have in mind and look at the paint; anything we can already see on screen we will tell you straight away. You will find the price of the film for a car of ordinary size in the price list; whether the paint will need preparation before fitting, we cannot judge reliably from a picture. What we say is a first impression: in person the paint may look different, and you will hear that before we start fitting. If something goes wrong
We give a two-year warranty on our workmanship. If you notice anything on the film – a lifted edge, a bubble, or anything that doesn't look right – let us know and we'll take a look.
