You switch on the fan and a musty smell comes out of the vents, one that doesn't clear after a few minutes of driving. Or it's hot outside, the air conditioning is running flat out, and the cabin still isn't bearable. Both come from the same place: the air conditioning unit under the dashboard, which you can't reach through the vents.
This service is for you if the smell comes with the airflow and fades once the fan is off, or if the air conditioning cools weakly. - Inspection by the car. We'll go through what you've described with you: when the smell appears, how strong it is, and how well the air conditioning cools.
- Cleaning or refilling the air conditioning at the partner's. Depending on what the car needs.
- The interior, if needed. If the smell has settled into the upholstery too, we follow up with deep interior cleaning, so you drive away with the whole car sorted.
What the price depends on
The price depends on whether the car needs the air conditioning cleaned, refilled, or both, and on whether the smell is held only by the air conditioning or by the interior too. If cleaning the upholstery and carpets is added to the air conditioning work, that's a separate item. We'll tell you the scope and the price at the inspection, before we start on anything.
